The British Cycle Quest is a challenge, organised by the Cyclists' Touring Club , in which the cyclist must visit six sites in all the traditional counties in the United Kingdom, which comes to a total of 402 sites, 252 in England, 48 in Wales, and 102 in Scotland.
As well as visit the site, the cyclist must answer a question to prove they have been there. The quest has no time limit.
One main purpose of this quest is to visit different parts of the U.K. which might not otherwise have been visited.
More information is available on the CTC's website here.
This website is a place to record which sites you have visited and to help you plan future visits.
Record the date when you visted a site and the marker on the map will then be green.
If you click on a marker on the map it will take you to the question page.
You can also record the answer to the site question, other people can not see this answer.
If you're logged in you can see which sites other people have visited by clicking on their name on the login page. This shows you a map of the places they've visited in green but you can't see when they were there nor see their answer.
To claim the visit and get on to the official leader board you have to purchase a county card from the CTC, fill in the six answers on that card and send it in for verification.
The card will be returned to you.
